China’s Jing Shi already has one podium finish to her name
Maranello, 27 Oct – The three women drivers competing in the Ferrari Challenge, Italian sisters Corinna and Manuela Gostner and China’s Shi Jing are fast, aggressive and fear no-one.
Born to drive. Speed flows in the veins of the Gostner sisters. The two girls from Alto Adige (South Tyrol) are from a true racing family. Their father Thomas competes together with the sisters in the Coppa Shell, while their brother David is one of the brightest drivers in the Ferrari Challenge Europe Trofeo Pirelli.
Brilliant results. Manuela arrives at the Finali Mondiali in Mugello, where the last two races of the Ferrari Challenge Europe will be held and the world title decided, in the wake of a very good result in Valencia. Indeed, in the second race the Ineco MP team driver finished a fantastic fifth. In that same race her sister Corinna repeated the 10th place previously achieved in Race-2 at Imola.
Girl on the podium. Jing Shi managed to do even better in the Coppa Shell of the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific, securing third place at Zhuhai. The three will be on the track together for the the World Championship at Mugello. On that occasion we will find out who really is the fastest…
